This class is an introductory guide to contracts for the visual arts. We will discuss common issues and key contract provisions found in visual arts contracts by using examples of gallery and museum agreements, contracts for sales, loan agreements, and exhibition agreements. Participants will learn tips, best practices and pitfalls, and how to protect your rights with well-written contracts.
