Overview: Comedians should know the common legal issues that affect their craft so they can worry less about liability and focus on the laughs. This class takes you through the key legal concepts for comedians from the stage of writing jokes to performing them, contracting with venues and recording your routine. Topics to be covered include: Trademark, Copyright, Contract basics, IP ownership, recording and posting videos, AI, and more.
