Life Rights in Scripted Film Projects

July 22 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Location: Zoom Webinar

This class is designed for filmmakers seeking to portray real people in a scripted film. We will explore what “life rights” are, and whether or not they’re necessary. We will also review a sample life rights agreement so that attendees come away with an understanding of the rights and obligations to look out for in such a contract.

Note: This class has changed the date from July 23 to July 22.

Instructors: VLA Legal Externs (Max Novick and Ethan Rosenberg)

Membership Discount Code: For members, please contact registrations@vlany.org to receive your discount code, which will allow you to view and purchase the ticket.
