Artists thrive through freedom of artistic expression. However, social media platforms often censor materials such as nudity based on the platforms’ community guidelines. This class will delineate the current policies in place on major social media sites and how those policies impact artists. We will also discuss where the law might be headed in relation to this limit on artists’ legal right to freedom of expression.
