Law touches all areas of fashion: from cheer uniforms to the signature red soles of designer heels. Whether you are designing your first samples or forming your emerging brand into a company, this course will cover the essential legal topics that emerging fashion designers should keep in mind as they grow their brand. We will offer an overview of different types of intellectual property, key considerations when negotiating contracts, and other topics of interest.
