Do you have questions about copyright? You’re not alone.
As an artist, it is essential for you to understand your rights in your creations, and what to do if you believe those rights have been violated. This class is a practical discussion of the fundamentals of copyright for creatives. We will discuss the basics of copyright law, what it does and does not cover, and steps you can take to help prevent copyright infringement of your work. Taught by VLA Executive Director Katie Wagner, this class will include a portion for Q&A.
Continuing Legal Education: This program provides 1.5 Professional Practice CLE for attorneys (Approved for Non-Transitional and Transitional Attorneys).
