The Copyright Claims Board (CCB) is an alternative forum to federal court to resolve copyright disputes involving damages up to $30,000. The CCB opened its doors in June 2022, and this webinar is designed to provide the foundation for bringing or responding to a claim before the CCB, including:
- The purpose and features of the CCB;
- The steps of a CCB proceeding;
- Preparing a claim for the CCB;
- Responding to a claim; and,
- Resources supporting CCB participants.
The CCB is excited to work with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts to ensure that participants and potential participants have many options for seeking assistance with their copyright matters.
