Alternative Fundraising: Legal Implications of Online Crowdfunding

November 18, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

VLA is proud to present its popular series of free classes targeted to artists, students and practicing attorneys. The classes will be taught by current law school students.

For artists, musicians, and creatives thinking of turning to Indiegogo or Kickstarter for their next big project, come join VLA on November 18, 2019 to learn about online crowdfunding and its legal implications!

Online crowdfunding is a popular alternative financing method that can connect artists to supporters and capital. This class will walk you through various avenues of crowd-funding, why this might be a good option for you, and what legal questions and regulations you should be thinking about. If you are curious about raising funds, what to include in your campaign, or what happens afterward, this is the class for you!
