Accounting, Budgeting, & Cash: ABCs of Business Finance

This program will cover the financial fundamentals that every artist and small business owner needs to consider. Attorney and finance expert Jared Graw will take you through the basics of borrowing and budgeting for a small business, financial best practices, and how you can apply these principles with different business entities.

If you have always wanted to learn more about the difference between accrual vs. cash accounting, how to set up a budget or obtain a line of credit (but you have been too afraid to ask!), we look forward to seeing you there.

Instructor: Jared Graw, CFA, and Counsel at BNY Mellon. Prior to BNY Mellon, Jared spent over 6 years at BlackRock in New York City. Prior to 2013, he worked with a commodities trading app, as well as at various law firms, including his own, in the South Florida area. Jared is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a prestigious designation for investment professionals.
