Stacey Foltz Stark is an associate at Winston & Strawn LLP in the Media & Entertainment group in New York. She focuses her practice on copyright, new media, trademark, unfair competition, and entertainment issues. She regularly counsels clients on litigation strategy and risk assessment, DMCA safe harbor regulations, and brand enforcement and portfolio management. She represents clients in complex litigation matters in federal and state courts, proceedings in front of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and music licensing proceedings before the Copyright Royalty Board.
Stacey also maintains an active pro bono practice. She is a member of the Associate Board of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, the leading legal aid and education organization dedicated to New York artists and its arts and cultural organizations. She also assists with Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund’s Name Change Project and OutServe-SLDN’s Restore Honor, Restore Dignity program.
Stacey is a member of the International Trademark Association and the Intellectual Property Law Section of the New York Bar Association. She also regularly attends events sponsored by the Copyright Society and New York City Bar’s Committee on Women in the Legal Profession.
