BIOGRAPHY:
Nick Gaglio is a partner in the New York office of Axinn, an antitrust, intellectual property and complex commercial litigation boutique. He counsels clients on a wide array of antitrust issues, including merger review, litigation, civil non-merger and criminal cartel investigations, internal investigations, and counseling. His work crosses a variety of industry sectors, such as recycled paper to beverage packaging, and sports equipment to sports entertainment. Nick is ranked by Chambers & Associates and a former Chair of the Antitrust Section of the New York State Bar Association.
Nick is the leader of Axinn’s pro bono program, overseeing several impactful initiatives that further Axinn’s commitment to social justice. Axinn partners with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts in NY, Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts, and other organizations to further the rights of artists and historically undervalued groups. His personal pro bono practice focuses on women’s rights, and has ranged from helping indigent women secure divorce, maintenance and child support, to Violence Against Women Act petitions for immigration protection, to formation of a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to using the art-making process to support women cancer survivors.
Nick is also a strong supporter of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. As former Chair of the NYSBA Antitrust Section’s Diversity Committee, he led an initiative to create the Section’s Diversity Fellowship program, which provides paid internship opportunities for diverse law students at enforcement agencies and in-house law departments in New York. He is one of the senior members of Axinn’s DEI Committee, and a frequent mentor to diverse law students through the Practicing Attorneys for Law Students Program.
