Mahaylia Latoya Hines

Mahaylia Latoya Hines is a litigation associate at Debevoise & Plimpton. Mahaylia has worked on cases involving data breaches, commercial litigation and intellectual property.
Prior to working at Debevoise & Plimpton, Mahaylia was a member of the Patent Law Clinic at Howard University School of Law, where she assisted inventors from low-income backgrounds in applying for patents for their inventions.
Mahaylia received a J.D. magna cum laude from Howard University School of Law in 2022 and a B.A. magna cum laude from Florida International University in 2019. Moreover, Mahaylia is a member of both Phi Beta Kappa and Epsilon Sigma Iota Sorority, Inc.
Mahaylia is excited to contribute to VLA’s mission of empowering artists through legal advocacy.
