Kike Aluko Wahutu

Kike Aluko Wahutu is a member of the Entertainment & Media Practice at Greenberg Traurig. She focuses her practice on a diverse range of transactions within the entertainment industry with an emphasis on digital music licensing, music-related deals for film and television, and the representation of talent. She has experience drafting and negotiating digital content agreements with music licensors on behalf of clients with digital music/media services, music deals in connection with original film/TV content on major streaming platforms, and various music agreements on behalf of talent clients, including agreements with music producers, songwriters, publishing companies, guest artists, and more. As a classically trained musician and an MBA graduate, Kike brings a variety of valuable perspectives to her practice that provide her with a unique understanding of the creative and business issues facing the music industry. Kike also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on representing individuals from marginalized communities in the music industry and beyond.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Kike spent time working with the Nigerian Copyright Commission, Spotify, Creative Artists Agency (CAA), and Pandora. Before graduate school, Kike had a six-year career in the non-profit sector, where she worked with under-represented communities in health education and professional career development.

Kike is a JD/MBA graduate from Harvard University, and a 2009 graduate from Stanford University. She is currently admitted to practice in New York and Georgia.
