Juliana Moraes Liu is an associate in the Technology and IP Transactions Practice Group at Covington & Burling LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial transactions that leverage technology solutions to enable clients to innovate and become industry leaders. Juliana routinely advises clients on projects centered around emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, metaverse environments and NFTs. She has significant experience with IT outsourcing, cloud network, software implementation, and terms of use agreements. As part of her practice, Juliana regularly supports clients on transactions centered around data and content rights, including licensing and distribution agreements. She also advises on the intellectual property aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Juliana works with clients in a range of industries, including television, music, sports, travel and technology services. Juliana received her J.D. from Yale Law School and her undergraduate degree from Columbia University.
