VLA is proud to present its popular series of free classes targeted to artists, students and practicing attorneys. The classes will be taught by current law school students.
This class will examine current legal issues faced by artists and entertainers in the social media sphere. Understanding this evolving topic is important not only for active “influencers,” but for any artist whose work can be reproduced or represented online. Utilizing case studies, we will illustrate best practices and highlight common dangers. Among other issues, we will address sponsorship deals, fair use, copyright infringement, and defamation.
