As conversations on diversity and inclusion become more common, talent agents and personal managers have to adapt to modernize their services in response to the industry’s demands, especially in 2023. While these positive changes are necessary, some agents and managers cultivate toxic relationships with their clients based on exploitation, discrimination, and deception.
This class will provide an overview of the steps talent agents and managers take —or should take— to create an equitable environment for their clients. This class will also focus on how agents and managers generate business and help their clients achieve success in the ultra-democratic digital media landscape, how agents and talent managers create a more inclusive space for an ever-growing community of demographics, and behaviors clients should be wary of when seeking representation.
