Legal Issues in Social Media

Whether you are a photographer, choreographer, or filmmaker, you are most likely engaged with social media on a daily basis. But what rights do you have if your art is retweeted without your permission on Instagram or Twitter, your original dances are copied on TikTok, or someone takes a screenshot of your post on Facebook? In this class, we will provide an overview of what to pay attention to in a user agreement, what works are copyrightable on social media, and what to do if you think someone is using your work without your permission.
