Legal Issues in Film

This class will provide an overview of legal issues surrounding filmmaking and production. Topics will include corporate entities, copyright, clearance, defamation and right of publicity. The class will explore real-world case studies including Veronica Mars and Borat.

This class is for filmmakers, producers, attorneys, and anyone interested in the film industry.

This class will be taught by Jonathan J. Marcus, Esq., Associate at Becker, Glynn, Muffly, Chassin & Hosinski LLP.
