Legal Matters in Art: Is it Fair? A Guide to Fair Use in Art (CLE)

Are you an artist wondering if and when you can incorporate copyrighted material into your artwork? There are certain circumstances where the limited, “fair use” of copyrighted material may be permitted. Is it Fair? is designed to enable non-lawyers, as well as lawyers who have limited experience in the subject, to understand how copyright law – with a particular focus on fair use – affects visual art.

Continuing Legal Education: This program provides 1.5 CLE credits to attorneys, approved for Non-Transitional and Transitional Attorneys.

Three-Part Workshop Series: Legal Matters in Art: Is it Fair? A Guide to Fair Use in Art is the last workshop in VLA’s Three-Part Series: Legal Matters in Art.
