VLA is proud to present its popular Legal & Business Issues in Art Series of free classes targeted to artists and individuals interested in the arts. The classes will be taught by our current Law School Student Interns as part of their work at VLA, and supervised by VLA staff.
Trademarks 101: Protecting Your Brand
This course will provide a practical overview of trademark law, and discuss how trademarks can serve to protect your brand. It will highlight what types of marks are protectable, what diligence is necessary before using a mark, what constitutes infringement, and what actions you can take if you suspect infringement.
