Planning Your Artistic Legacy: Estate Planning Basics with Q&A

We invite you to join us for a special opportunity to hear from Elder Law and Estate Attorney Britt Burner, who will discuss the essentials of estate planning for artists. As part of this program, there will be time allotted for Q&A.

Topics covered include healthcare advance directives, powers of attorney, and the distribution of assets after death. We will cover specific provisions and planning tools for artists and how they can preserve their work during incapacity and ensure their artistic legacy remains intact.

Britt BurnerInstructor:
Britt Burner is an attorney at Burner Law Group, P.C. focusing her practice on Elder Law and Estate Planning and is the driving force behind the firm’s Manhattan office. For six consecutive years, Britt has been named as a Rising Star Attorney by Super Lawyers Magazine. She is the immediate past-chair of the New York City Bar Association Committee on the Legal Problems of the Aging and is Treasurer of the New York State Bar Association Elder Law and Special Needs Planning section. In addition to her Bar Association responsibilities, Britt is a charter member of the Advisory Council for The Katz Institute for Women’s Health at Northwell. Britt is licensed to practice law in New York State. She lives in Westhampton and Downtown Brooklyn.
