As the popularity of tattoos has grown in the United States, so have the legal issues that tattoo artists face. In this class, we will focus on one of these issues: copyright. Participants will learn about existing copyright law and how it has been applied to tattoos, as well as copyright infringement and how, or if, a tattoo artist can enforce their copyright when it has been infringed.
