Legal Issues in Street Photography

We invite you to join us for an informative discussion on legal issues related to street photography in New York. Key topics to be covered include the legal differences between photographing public and private property, when release forms may be required for photographing people in public, and what to be mindful of when photographing police and other government personnel. We will also cover some best practices to ensure that photographers are confident in how best to protect themselves.
