This class will explore major legal issues in film and television. Topics include key contract provisions to watch for, music licensing for film and TV, copyright and derivative works, and festival and distribution considerations. Time permitting, we will also discuss labor considerations, union issues, and gig-economy realities affecting filmmakers and actors today.
