Freelancing in Film and TV: Protecting Your Creative Contributions

VLA is proud to present its popular series of free classes targeted to artists, students and practicing attorneys. The classes will be taught by current law school students.

Working on films and television shows in New York is a unique and thrilling experience! When it comes to understanding what rights you have in the final project, however, it can also be a confusing one. Join us at the VLA for an introduction to who owns what in film and television collaborations, and learn about terms to look out for when you negotiate your next job.
