VLA is proud to present its popular series of free classes targeted to artists, students and practicing attorneys. The classes will be taught by current law school students.
This class will provide an overview of legal aspects of the artist-gallery relationship, and important provisions in consignment agreements including basic rights and responsibilities, copyright, and payment. We will also discuss the duties that galleries owe to artists, and explain some common issues through case studies. This seminar will be of value for artists, galleries, and others who work with consignment agreements!
