VLA is proud to present its popular series of free classes targeted to artists, students and practicing attorneys. The classes will be taught by current law school students.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”), such as mediation or arbitration, is an increasingly popular method to legally resolve disputes without going to court. If you’re entering a contract, it’s important to understand the implications of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Just like any other method of dispute resolution, it has its pros and its cons. In this class we will cover: (1) what is ADR; (2) what are some things to be aware of when signing a contract that mandates ADR; and (3) when is ADR a good option for you?
