Laura Levin-Dando, VLA’s Legal Services Coordinator, oversees VLA’s intake process, working with artists on legal issues such as contract review, intellectual property, corporate and not-for-profit formation and governance, and disputes. Laura directly manages and supervises VLA’s legal fellows, interns, and volunteers. Additionally, as Pro Bono Coordinator, Laura works with volunteer attorneys to facilitate placement of pro bono matters with counsel. Laura received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and she graduated summa cum laude from Yeshiva University, where she studied history and music. A lifelong musical theatre nerd, Laura feels very fortunate to be able to help artists from all disciplines through her work at VLA.
