In recent years crowdfunding has become a popular alternative financing method for established and up-and-coming artists alike. This seminar hopes to help artists navigate the legal implications of this new financing trend. The class will discuss what crowdfunding is, the various ways to crowd fund, the advantages and disadvantages, and the legal regulations and implications.
