VLA is excited to have Jacqueline Christy speak at this year’s Giving Tuesday event! Her organization Access Theater provides an affordable venue for emerging artists and nonprofit organizations to showcase their work. VLA worked closely with Jacqueline and Access Theater for 7 years, during which time she was afforded dedicated legal services at a critical juncture for the organization.

Jacqueline is a writer, producer, and director, having worked on many notable plays and films, including the world premiere of The Killing Act, starring Peter Dinklage, written and directed by Tom McCarthy (Spotlight); the world premiere of Aasif Mandvi’s one-man show Sakina’s Restaurant; and the world premiere of Stephen Belber’s Tape.

VLA has also assisted Jacqueline with her current independent film Magic Hour starring actress Miriam Shor. The film has been featured in the Hollywood Reporter and Broadway World.

Join us next Tuesday at Cocktails for a Cause to hear more about Jacqueline’s background and experience with VLA!
